Advanced energy manufacturing. From battery enclosures to plasma-facing parts.
Our advanced energy manufacturing runs through a vetted vendor network machining copper, tungsten, and nickel superalloys to ±0.001″ for storage, generation, fusion, nuclear, and grid programs.
Every drawing is reviewed before it reaches a supplier. Conductivity grades, material callouts, and tolerance risk get flagged on paper before a supplier cuts metal. Technical data is handled under NIST 800-171 compliant controls from quote to delivery. Material certs travel with every order. One contact owns the job start to finish.
A project manager responds within 24 hours.
Three steps from RFQ to delivery
Simple front end. Controlled execution behind it.
Send Your RFQ
Send the drawings, material specs, and quantities. A project manager reviews them personally and responds within 24 hours, with DFM flags and material risk called out alongside the quote.
We Manage the Details
We match the job to the vendor whose strike zone fits the material and tolerance, lock the timeline, and keep documentation in scope from day one. ISO 9001:2015 quality management and NIST 800-171 compliant data handling govern the work.
We Inspect and Deliver
Our quality team checks every order against your drawing before it ships. Material certs and inspection records ship with the parts.
Advanced Energy Industry FAQs
Precision Expedited supports energy storage and battery systems, power generation, fusion energy, advanced nuclear, power distribution and conversion, and grid management hardware. Programs range from a single prototype for a test stand to production runs of enclosures and conductors. The same contact manages the job at every stage.
Yes. Our vetted vendor network machines tungsten and tungsten alloys, oxygen-free and high-conductivity copper (C101, C110), Inconel 625 and 718, and 316L stainless for vacuum and cryogenic service. Tungsten is brittle at room temperature and copper is gummy and burr-prone, so both go only to shops with a track record in them. Tolerances to ±0.001″ are routine for energy industry CNC machining. For anything tighter, send your print and we’ll confirm feasibility during quoting.
We support advanced nuclear R&D, prototype, test loop, and non-safety-related hardware under our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. If your part is safety-related or your purchase order invokes ASME NQA-1 or 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, note it with your RFQ. We’ll confirm vendor qualification before we quote and tell you plainly if the job isn’t a fit.
Precision Expedited is NIST 800-171 Compliant and ITAR Registered. Drawings and models are handled under documented access controls from RFQ to delivery, and ITAR-controlled work routes only to vetted, ITAR-registered domestic vendors. If your program falls under ITAR, EAR, or DOE export rules, flag it with your RFQ and we’ll confirm handling before quoting.
Yes. Many energy programs start with a few enclosures or busbars for a pilot build, then scale. We plan for that at quote by flagging features that get expensive at volume and lining up vendors with capacity for the next step. The same contact carries the program through bridge and production.
Material certifications and inspection records ship with every order. Plating certs, conductivity or hardness reports, and first article inspection reports are available when your drawing or PO calls for them. List requirements with your RFQ so they’re priced and scheduled from the start.
Quick-turn portals are built to price geometry fast and route it to whoever has capacity. Energy hardware usually needs more judgment than that. A copper grade changes conductivity, a large weldment has to stay flat enough to seal, and a data package can’t leave a controlled environment. We read the drawing, pick the vendor, and stay on the job until the parts are in your hands.
